Thanks Econtiff!! Yeah - I think coming to this site and reading all the different approaches, successes and even some of the setbacks has helped me feel more comfortable about 'shaking things up' and keeping my body guessing. Sometimes I can be so rigid that I leave no room for creativity - and that 'all or nothing' attitude has gotten me in trouble more times than I can count. Since I've adopted this new approach - there is no all or nothing - I have options and I just make a few small, short-term changes and boom! - I'm back in the game! lol
I walk outside - I lose motivation QUICK on the treadmill. lol. Walking outside leaves me no options for quitting early - I gotta get my butt back home the same way I came - one foot in front of the other. Plus, I have this mental image of all my neighbors being a part of this journey with me. They've been waving every morning for the past 3 1/2 months - so I have to get up everyday and hit the grind so I won't let them down. I imagine, someone is getting encouragement and that is a motivator for me. It may all be in my head - but it's my story and I'm sticking to it! rofl!
My cousin does zumba several times a week - she loves it. I may try it in another month or so - I just have so much going on right now I can only commit to my walking. But I will definitely keep it in mind.
Thank you so much for your encouragement! I saw your tremendous success this week too - 55lbs!!!! Awesome!!!
As always, take care - and keep being good to yourself!!!

Thanks Vogue!!! You're absolutely right - so I keep track of my ketosis status with the Ketostiks. It helps me make sure I'm in fat burning mode. Even though I've still got over 50lbs to go - I'm feeling much more confident about maintenance mode. I think I'll probably regulate my calories about about 1000 a day. Which right now seems like a lot - but since I plan to keep exercising I know this will be perfect for maintaining.
