I'm 9 weeks post op.  I am able to just about finish 6oz of Chabani Yogurt.  Have I stretched me stomach?  Isn't that too much to be eating this early out?

I'm almost a year out and I can't eat all the 5.3 oz fage yogurt.  I eat it over 2-3 meals. Measure what you eat and don't overfill your sleeve, under fill it. Try and split the yogurt up in a few meals, spoon it on a plate instead of eating from the container if that helps.  Kerry

You'd be in a lot of pain if a food stretched your sleeve out. Yougurt "slides" down. You have more restriction with dense foods.

Like the last poster said split your portion, measure everything!

Just because you "can" eat something does not mean you should. You now eat to fuel your body-not get full like before.

Yogurt is semi-liquid. It slides through your pyloric valve quickly. It's not at all unusual that you can eat more of it and, no, you won't stretch out your tummy.

Some people can eat yogurt without issues. I still have a hard time with greek yogurt. I can eat about 5oz. max at almost a year out but there are plenty of other people who can eat it just fine. I agree with the posts above. It's best to measure your portions, especially this early out.
Good luck!!!

Solid protein is so different. I can eat 6 oz of Greek Yogurt, no problem. However, I can only eat 2 oz of dense protein (beef or chicken) and I am over 5 months out. So once you start doing solids, you will recognize slider foods, such as yogurt, if that is one for you. That is what the push about eating your dense proteins first, once you reach the solids stage. Otherwise, as stated above, just measure those foods that seem to slide through. For me, I am comfortable eating the small Oikos Greek Yogurt and I think that is almost 6 oz. and even put some protein granola in it and it still seems to be a fine volume for me. Everyone is different.
