You do know we have a SLEEVE GASTRECTOMY right?

Or did you forget what procedure you had?

Whether or not surgeons agree or are up on the current studies can be debated forever, many still espouse the "starvation mode" BS that is not even close to being correct.. but caffeine has been disproven as a diuretic. You can google it yourself as well.. but here's the Mayo Clinic's Q & A write up on it as well as researched articles, there are many other sources.. there is no need to argue this one.

edited to add: I have a stomach, not a stomach pouch.. and I can nearly chug water like previous so long as my stomach is empty.. I do not take tiny sips all day long. I easily drink well over 100oz fluids a day, much more if I'm hiking and do it in very little time.

I order the tall sugar free , fat free skinny cinnimon dulce latte. i get one on Saturday mornings since I gave up my daily coffee. My Dr. says its fine to have once a week, especially since I stick with water and no other artificially sweetened drinks all week. it also has 9g of protein.

I like skinny vanilla lattes - 100 calories, 14 carbs, 9 protein (not great, but not horrible and I make sure to plan the rest of my day to make sure I stay below 40 carbs)...

I'm not much on Starbucks, never have time to stop by, but I have 8oz of coffee with FF Creamer/Splenda almost every morning, I allow for this in my daily carb intake!

I will have to try a Iced Coffee Thou
