Hi
This is my first post and I am waiting for insurance approval and a date for the sleeve.

I am a little worried about the hair loss.  I have to look professional for my job.  Is it better to have long or short hair?   1 length or layered??  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

First- best wishes on your approval for the sleeve!
Next......you may not loose your hair, so don't do anything before you may need to.
I did not loose much hair at all, if any. I really worked at getting in my protein and I ate as healthy as can be.
I did opt to cut my hair shorter and layered, just for a new look for the new me. :)
Good luck and keep us posted on a date!

Congrats on starting this journey!

Don't stress about hair loss since it may never happen.  I did have some hair thinning, but not too bad.  Went to my stylest and she gave me a cute style that really made it all look good!  I think it's best to let the professionals guide you based on your hairs condition and the shape of your head.

Wait and see like the others stated, I thought YAY I might have thin hair for once in my life, it never happened lol. Yes I lost some but not as much as I was hoping for but it all grew back in.

As the others said, don't worry about it until it comes to pass because it may not be a problem.

But, if it does happen, you do have options.  You could elect to have some additional locks woven in.  You could try a hairstyle you hadn't considered before.  You could wait it out.

If you do lose hair, in most cases, it's not evident to most of the world.
