Celebtrating 4 weeks post-op!!

I'm proud of my progress. Weighed in at 319lbs this morning!!! Broke into the teens. So happy. Feeling good today.

Congrats! Are you feeling better and getting your liquids down now?

I followed my nurses advice to focus on the protein first because I was getting too weak. I did that and I am feeling a TON better. I get about 55gms of protein a day now and about 50oz of fluids. I'm not at the optimal level yet, but what she said worked and I am so thankful for that. I always go for protein first then fluids (contrary to many Dr's advice, but for me this is what they told me). It has really helped with everything. The scale is even moving again finally.. (Was in starvation mode).

It's funny I was a few days before you but I count my anniversary on the Thursdays :D  Looking great and I'm glad you're feeling great, too :D

It's funny, I asked my husband, "do I celebrate that it's been 4 weeks or do I wait until the 16th cause that's a month". LOL. I decided to celebrate both this time because I have had such a **** recovery.
