My procedure went well.  Not a lot of pain.  I only took the meds at night to help get a good night sleep between the vitals. I have been walking and trying to get enough liquids in.   Some gas pain  some burps but not much tooting.  While napping today my boston ran right across my stomach and now i am in pain.  Few questions:

Almost every time I drink I purp is this normal? I have pain twinges in my left side when I eat.  Is that normal?

Thanks

Karen

Congratulations and welcome to the losers bench!  Remember the newbie mantra - sip, walk, rest, repeat!  Take the pain meds if you need them (especially when puppies use you as a trampoline!)

It is VERY normal to burp, burp, burp with drinking and eating.  GasX will be your friend for a while.  Twinges of pain are also normal - but when in doubt, talk to your surgeon!

Good luck and happy healing!
