Here's me, 129lbs lighter!!! Went from a size 24 to a 10 and lost 48 inches! No Diabetes, no hypertension, no depression! These last 2 years have been the greatest 2 of my life, and for all of you potential surgery patients - JUST DO IT!!! So many things in my life have improved. It's so nice to have self-confidence and be able to hold my head up and be proud of what I've accomplished. I've done so well with this surgery that I was put in a commercial for my surgical center. I no longer freak out about what to wear or clothes not fitting right. I'm not out of breath doing simple tasks. I now enjoy working out, and can run 5 miles in less than an hour; pre-op, it took me 45 minutes to walk just one mile!!! This has been the most incredible journey, and I'm so thankful to have this wonderful tool. I wanted to post on here to show all the potential patients and newbies the possibilities of what can be achieved. I spent 6 months stalking these boards for success stories before I had my surgery, dreaming of one day becoming one of them. I hope my success can inspire some of you to become a future inspiration for others as well!
Congrats to you ! I too have been stalking these forums for quite sometime now and I've finally scheduled my surgery for 1/18/13. I can not wait to have all the same positive things to say about my success.
