Align Probiotics

I've been a long time IBS sufferer, so although chronic constipation is certainly not new to me, it's been even more of a challenge since surgery.  Not that it worries me, but it has been a constant state.  Two weeks ago, I added Align Probiotics to my supplementation and I really think it is helping.  I haven't had a lot of luck with other probiotics in the past, but this one does seem to be changing my GI tract for the better.  They do advertise it as being designed for IBS, but I was skeptical.  It only requires once daily dosing too!  It might be worth a try for those of you with constipation and/or IBS.

Hi,I've just this week answered a few posts about constipation.Probiotics have changed my life.This was a huge problem since surgery and I could never get the dosage of stoolsoftners right.The same size dosage would be too much today, too little tomorrow.Now,with drinking the probiotics I don't need anything else.

Oh,and I don't have IBS.

my NUT insists probiotics also helps speed the weightloss....   I use a different brand but it definitely makes a difference

That's a perspective I've not heard before.  Do you know anything about your NUT's rationale or experience regarding this?

EVERYONE should use probiotics.  Also, a digestive enzyme after each meal.  It will help with reflux, and doesn't have the side effects that PPI's have.
