Sorry couldn't resist. I figured they would be there forever. They would have to cut you back open to remove them. Who would want to chance dissolving stitches? It would be too risky.

I had disolving stitches... no staples.

That is on your port incisions, not the staple line of your sleeve. The sleeve staples are titanium and it stays forever.
