I will also be in Vegas beginning of Jan. Buffets differ depending on where you go, and how fancy you want it. They have things you will be able to eat. As far as the price....its going to be alot anywhere you go since you really arent going to be eating a full buffet. I have actually asked if I could get a kid price since I have had surgery....some are nice and let you...others make you pay full

they all have steamed  shrimp which is a great protein , might be better to go to a regular restaurant and eat an appetizer

A lot of them now have where you pay one price and it is good for 24 hours. That might be a good bet for you as you could get small amounts as needed. Some of the casinos that are grouped together even let you eat at different buffets. Can you pack me in your bag and take me along?   🃏

I have been going to LV since 1969.........buffets  have changed a lot and most are quite good.  My favorite is the Seafood Buffet at the Fremont -- Downtown.  They have shrimp scampi, boiled shrimp (cold), steamed shrimp (hot), shrimp fried rice, shrimp many ways.  They have hot and cold crab legs -- they are the Snow Crab Legs, not the King Crab Legs, but they are split and it's easy to get the meat out.  There is also a carved meat section -- turkey, ham, roast beef.  For the non-sleeved, there are an abundance of sides -- mashed potatoes with gravy, veggies of all sorts, some sushi, California rolls, sliced meats to make sandwiches, taco fixings, all kinds of pasta and potato salads, huge bowls of several kinds of lettuces and all the fixings -- tomatoes, bacon bits, cucumbers, croutons, carrot shreds, mushrooms, etc.  They also have various breads with butter available and several soups with crackers available.  I know I've left out several choices, but you can't possibly go hungry.  I go with some friends and the men go back 3-4 times to sample everything.  Of course, they can eat a TON of food.  The desserts are wonderful (if you eat them now).......many choices of fresh fruit, fruit and cream pies, cakes, brownies, eclairs, do-it-yourself sundaes with all the toppings you can imagine.  .  They don't rush you, are quick with refills on non-alcoholic drinks.  It's got decent atmosphere, it's clean, and they keep the pans loaded.    Last time I went (earlier this year pre-op) the cost was $16.95 per person.

I did call them about going in February when I'll be in LV.  They do not have a special price for WLS  customers.  They will let you go in to the buffet but you have to order from the regular menu.  I'm still going to have the buffet.  It's a tradition now and I will join my friends even if I can eat only a few ounces of the food......it's really that good.

I live in Las Vegas.   I've been here for 2 yrs.  Originally from California.  My favorite place to go for breakfast is the Palms.  They just redid it.  Breakfast is 8.99 with a player card.  You can have them make you a fresh egg white omelet with only one egg with fresh ingredients or a egg white scramble.  There are the other buffets that are grouped together that around the 44.99 mark with a players card that are good for 24 hours.  The thing about those, however, that I would recommend is to start at dinner time.   If you go at 6pm... you could have dinner at one, dessert at another, and then still have 3 meals the following day.    Anyway... I know with going to a buffet place like that temptation is going to be there, but you'd have a lot of different choices.  I definitely would advise if you're thinking more the buffet route would recommend the 24 hour pass as well.  Just make sure you get a players card first.  Otherwise it's 49.99 i think.  So even though it's only 5$ savings, it's still a 5$ savings.  Good luck, and let me know if you have any questions.  If you go to Planet Hollywood's website or the Flamingo, I think it talks about their 24 hour buffet pass.  Good luck.  I know a couple little restaurants that are really good.  They are off the strip, but I've never been disappointed in their food.
