I GOT A DATE WITH MY SURGEON!!!!

1/29/2013 is my surgery date!!!!!!!!! Words can't even begin to describe how I feel right now!!!! My life is about to change for the better and I'm beyond excited! I'm not nervous....yet lol I'm sure that will eventually set it the closer it gets!

I would absolutely LOVE some feedback from anyone and everyone on the things you wish you would have put on your list of things to get before you had your surgery or what items you would definitely recommend!  I'm already making my list so I'll be ALL set for the best day ever!!!!!!!

Congratulations..My date is 1/8. I can hardly wait either. I thought I would be nervous too but not so much.

Congrats! Do you have a pre op liquid diet you have to do?? I am curious cuz my doc does 10 days but I see some people have as little as 2 days.

Yeah I have to do a 2 week liquid diet, which I'm a little nervous about but I can do it!

Mine is the 22 and I have to start the 14 day pre-op shake/liquid only diet on the 7th.

That's awesome! I'm beyond ready lol not so much ready for the 2 week liquid diet but it'll definitely be worth it that's for sure!

Congrats!!!! Your gonna love it! My mother in law had it done on 12/27 and she is doing great! The surgery wasn't bad at all, I was with her. I am hoping to have mine done next month, I meet with my surgeon first on Feb. 4th, then we set a date, hopefully he can do it by the end of Feb. I can't wait any longer. I started this journey in August, so I am pretty lucky to be passed so quickly.

I am slightly nervous about the recovery process. I started this journey on 9/21/2012 so I'm SUPER lucky with how quickly I got everything done and now have a surgery date. I'm now sitting here thinking,....shoot what all should I buy to take with me up to the hospital for after surgery and all that good stuff!
