Where do you buy your protein? And a special thanks to Ruggie!

I'm out and the GNC we have nearby is small with a very limited amount of proteins that are good for WLS. They're either too high in calories or too high in carbs. (Not wasting 200 calories and 17g of carbs on one shake.)

I'm looking into unjury and a friend told me to try click. Where do you order these?

Also, Ruggie, I owe you BIG TIME. Your "unsolicited" advice the other day really helped snap me back into where I needed to be and what I needed to be doing. We had a great date with some friends, that night, and what you said was sticking with me. I am now back on track. So thank you!

I like body fortress from walmart. Good amount of protein and not a lot of carbs.

If you get the Body Fortress from Walmart get the more expensive version.  There is a $15 and a $22 version.  The more expensive one is 100% Whey Protein Isolate which is better than the Whey Protein Blend which is what the cheaper version is.

As for GNC you can buy Anout Time which is my favorite from gnc.com ... sells for about $35 and currently is buy one get one half off.  This gets you about 30 shakes so about a months supply.  If you get a gold card you can get 20% off the day you buy the gold card and the first week of every month for a year (cost $15).  The reason that I like About Time is it is 100% all natural with only 4 ingrediants.

1) 100% Whey Protein

2) Xanthan Gum (thickener)

3) Stevia

4) Natural Flavors

The About Time comes in many flavors but as with most of the 100% Whey Protein Isolates the flavors are fairly subdued.  This means that no matter what flavor you get you will likely add SF syrups to flavor the shake.  Hershey's Special Dark Unsweetened cocoa is good and 1 tbsp is only 10 calories.  Add this in with some Stevia or Splenda and you will have a nice chocolate shake ... also can add PB2 (peanut butter) or my preference Protein Plus Peanut Flour ... you can get a 2# bag for $11 plus shipping.  Actually if you are a first time buyer from iherb.com you can get $5 off making a 2# bag cost only $6 plus shipping.  http://www.iherb.com/Coupon

Thanks, got the peanut flour!  About Time is my favorite (I try to stick w/ stevia as much as possible) and was able to get 4 for just under $90 ($22.50 each) by buying the gold card & finding a coupon code online (RMNGNC15).

I order my tubs of syntrax nectar chocolate and vanilla from netrition.com.  They seem to have the cheapest prices that I've been able to find.

+1 on Netrition - great selection of stuff.  Lots of low-carb stuff too.
