Sleeve vs Gastric Bypass

my band has to come out and i've made up my mind that i want to have the vsg yesterday i had an appt with my dr who stated since i'm having really bad heartburn,gerd,acid reflex he felt i should consider gastric bypass i never even thought about getting that particular surgery but if the acid reflex,heartburn digestion issues don't go away what am i to do

really not confused but scared at the thought of gastric bypass
