VSG with Medicare in NC?

If anyone has had VSG in NC with medicare insurance or has any info about this stall on surgery scheduling, please let me know. All I am waiting on is the go-ahead which seems to be taking forever. Not sure why this is happening if Medicare has technically approved VSG. Very frustrated. Thank you

It depends on what state you are in and what the medical plan for that state is, not all states are doing it at this point. Also medicare doesn't pre approve procedures.
