L - Thai Green Curry Turkey Chili (not posting this recipe just yet, needs refinement)

W - On track but a bit slow today

V - Yep, a few more to take but the basics are done

E - Probably resting tonight

My running club starts tonight so I will be running. No idea how far but at least I'll be moving.

I am curious. All your meals seem to be fairly low carb except for your morning snack. Is that by design? If so what are the effects of the higher carb snack in the morning? Might be something I'd like to experiment with.

Also how was your experience with Dr. Sauceda? I am considering him for my plastics when it is time. I've heard he is a rockstar.

It is by design. It's trial and error Week 1. I need some energy (both mental and physical) and lower carbs (ie lower than 50) kills me - so I prefer to just add some carbs in the forms of snacks. I prefer dense protein meals because it does fill me up and is more satisfying.

The carbs keep me from getting all foggy-headed and in that typical "carb withdraw" feeling  in the morning and then I added the greek yogurt (it has like 12 g sugar I think) in the afternoon just before I head out for my run. My goal is to find a complex carb snack mid mornings that is easy/convenient, not triggery and satisying. The rice cakes aren't perfect but they will work for now (and they arent super triggery for me since they dont taste THAT good lol).

I documented my experience with Dr S in my blog (the link is below) - you will have to go back to Novemebr, but it was a great experience.

I have changed my diet around for the better. I want to lose the last 16lbs bad. So no more coffee...because well I like creamer. And I am going to the gym tonight, I haven't been there in ages!

B: Lean Body Chocolate Ice Cream Protein Shake

S: Low Fat String Cheese

L: I didn't prepare correctly. So I went and got a grilled chicken sandwich from McDs without mayo and removed everything else. I just ate the grilled chicken piece. And I had a SF Jello cup

S: 1/2c low fat cottage cheese

S: Another string Cheese

D: Probably half of a chicken breast

 

Going to the gym tonight for an hour.

Water & Vits: on track but need to get at least 8-10 cups of clear water in.
