Funny How The Same Number On The Scale Can Mean Something Different...
Like, for example, whether I am approaching that number from above (a good thing-I'm loosing) or from below (means I'm gaining and a bad thing). Thing is, the number is just a number and what is relative is my behavior and direction in relation to the number. I remember being grateful as all get out as I passed from weighing well over 300 pounds down into the two hundreds. Today, thinking of weighing two hundred something is very scary to me. My point? Don't let that number dictate your self worth. We are all somewhere on the ladder with numbers higher than we are at and lower than we are at. The number is not the issue- it does not define your self worth. It is in our ability and determination to move in the right direction related to that number in which we can take PRIDE (progress realized in daily effort).
