NSV at the mall

So, out of desperation, I finally went clothes shopping yesterday. Even though I work from home most of the time, I can no longer live on one pair of pants, one work-appropriate shirt, one pair of workout pants and a few tee shirts. I hate the mall, but took my wife Haley with me, and made it though ok. Went into some stores that I never thought were for me. Some still aren't, and some I'm not even sure what they are for, but I went in none-the-less and checked out what they have. After all, all I've worn is polo shirts and jeans for the past several years, so I don't even know what I want. The intimidation factor was huge, but lessened as the afternoon wore on.

Here are my stats: BEFORE vs. AFTER surgery

Pants: Size 22/24 -> Size 8. crazy.
Shirts: Size 2X -> MEDIUM
Bra: 42H (what the hell is "H"?)  -> 34D

Since 1/3/13, when I started working out:
Neck: 15.75" -> 14.25" (started at 19", which was the size of rented tux I got 2 years ago)
Shoulders: 43.5" -> 39.25"
Waist: 37.5" -> 32"
Hip: 43.5" -> 38.5"
Bicep: 11" -> 11"   no change but now they are full of muscle!

I can't believe it. Really, every time I walk by the mirror I stop and oogle. I just can't believe it's me. If I hadn't been working out the past five months, I'd probably be a size bigger but even that would be fine with me. It's great to be "normal".

Just wanted to claim a public victory for myself. Thanks for reading.

It works if you work it; it sorta works if you sorta work it; and it doesn't work if you don't work it.

Congrats!!!  That's awesome you faces the "dreaded" mall lol!  I can't wait so be on the losers bench.  I wish I hated the mall but I just don't like how things look on me right now so I refuse to buy a lot of clothes.  Congrats on your NSV again!
