Oh goodness Rob you are amazing. Thank you for checking back in. I have always read your posts and think you are a voice of reason and insight. You also clearly have dreams and goals and you are out living them. Hats off to you.
LOL glad to hear the sex life is better. I have to admit, it's more fun for me too. Guess the old hubs likes it better too. He actually grabs my waist a lot more during sex now haha :-)
Good luck on the next surgeries. You are almost done. There is an end in sight, at least to the surgeries. Not to maintenance, obviously.
I want to say your diabetes reversal has inspired me the most. I had diabetes too and found out 6 months before surgery. I should have known I had it already because I obviously had it uncontrolled for a while. My eye sight had suddenly gotten a lot worse! I should have known I may have diabetes! I had been walking around with it for probably a couple of years. I'm so glad I had VSG and it's in remission now. My eyesight has become stable now and hasn't worsened. I can wear contacts or glasses and see perfectly fine. My blood sugar numbers are stellar and my A1C's are normal now. My teeth and gums were bleeding every day when I brushed my teeth before VSG, and I had already spent a fortune on fixing a few of them. NOW when I brush THEY DO NOT BLEED and HAVE NOT in over a year. I guess the diabetes remission has helped my teeth and especially my GUMS. The gums were probably doing most of the bleeding from the diabetes. I think that is one of the most remarkable things to me. No more bleeding gums! Hah! The weight loss really is a side effect and the health is the mother load!
