Aliekat, since surgery I have not had any hunger at all.  I do still have slight soreness on the left side and find it a little hard to get some walking in but I am going at it little by little.

Welcome and Congratulations!

I'm from New Jersey too, and my surgery was July 3rd, 2013.

Taking it one day at a time is the way to go.  It gets a little better every single day.  You will find alot of support on this forum.  It's helped me tremendously.

Good luck and continued success.

Hi and welcome! This is a great site with SO much helpful information. OH.com has continued to be my go-to resource for everything regarding the VSG. I had my surgery May 28th (2 months out today) and I'm feeling great. It seems hard in the beginning, but the days will soon fly by and you'll wonder how the heck you made it to the 2-month mark! You'll do wonderful! Congrats!

This is my first post also. Just getting started in the process. I had my meeting with Behavioral and will be seeing the nutritionist in August. Reading all the posts and information on this site affirms that I am making the best decision for ME. It is time to have the body that matches my mind. My mind is active, healthy and joyful. I am working on all aspects of myself so that I can be mentally, physically, and spiritually ready for when I get my surgery date.

NJNiceGuy- congratulations on having your surgery. You have given yourself a wonderful gift!
