First Time Posting... Long Time Reading...
I have been reading posts on here for a long time and finally decided to post and say hello. This site and everyone on here who posts on the forums have been a great help in many questions I had on my mind during my time of looking things up and deciding which surgery was the right one for me.
Let me give you a little background on myself, I am a 34 year old male from New Jersey who had VSG surgery on July 19th and am taking it one day at a time right now. I started this journey at 414 lbs. as my highest weight and 383 lbs. as my surgery day weight. I didn't have any issues with my insurance or any other part of the process needed to get my surgery and things went very smoothly for me.
I look forward to sharing my journey with everyone here and making friends with fellow WLS people.

I'm a first time poster tonight as well! Born and raised Jersey girl! But I left NJ at 18 to go to college, married a Marine and have moved all over since then. I now live in Texas but I miss NJ, especially in the summer.
