A Loser in the Making!

So the date is set! August 16th!  I started the liquid diet today!! Getting closer and closer!

Any words of wisdom and advice would be greatly appreciated!

How exciting for you!  The liquid diet is tough, just keep telling yourself that in the grand scheme of life, it's such a small amount of time.  You'll be so proud you did it! 

Take before pictures.  I didn't, figuring I had pictures I could reference back to, but I wish I had taken REAL before pictures!  Continue taking them along your journey, to remind yourself how far you've come. 

Take weekly measurements.  Sometimes the scale doesnt move, but the tape measure does.

Once you're back on regular food, take the time to re-learn your body.  Some things will feel better than others in your new stomach.  Your tastes may also change, so keep an open mind.

Best advice? Keep posting! This is a long long 2 weeks, but you'll do great! We'll see you on the losers bench soon!
