Anyone from Colorado?

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie and I'm scheduled for VSG on 9-17-13. I live in Peyton, Colorado and wondered if there was anyone in my area going through the same. I happened upon this site and have learned a great deal of information from everyone. I am excited for this "losing" journey and I'm ready to take my life back. I look forward to being part of a "losing team" very soon.

HI! I am! I live in Denver though. I grew up in Peyton! I went to Falcon Elementary school for K-5th grade, then moved to Denver after that. I do not have surgery scheduled yet, but I am thinking it will be the end of September. I look forward to learning more about you :-)

I am in Lakewood. I have my surgery tomorrow.

rengirl1978:::: We just moved here June 2012 and love it. We technically live in Falcon but our post office address is Peyton. They say it is because Falcon does not have a post office. Weird I know. LOL I hope you get your date soon. 

 

Jen H::::I'm not familiar with Colorado yet, how far are you from Falcon? I'm am soooo excited for you. Tomorrow is the beginning of the new you. I'll say prayers tonight for a quick and easy recovery. You will do great!! Keep us updated please.

Well, I don't live in CO...yet. It is my favorite place to vacation. We are hoping to move there sometime in the not to distant future. If all goes well, will be in the area near Christmas.

Enjoy the journey, it is amazing.

Linda:: That sounds great!! We moved here June 2012 to retire after my husband retired from the US Army. It is the best decision we could have made. The schools (district 49) are excellent. The weather is fabulous and of course we love the snow. I look forward to talking with you again.
