Maybe I found the culprit!
That is WAY too many carbs a day for me. MUCH worse than Splenda or Sweet and Low. I do my best to stay under 20 grams a day, and I've been going over that just in sweeteners.

Thanks! That must be like the powdered stevia I ended up getting when I ordered stevia on Amazon. I'd prefer it liquid. Thanks!

I use pure sucralose -- ordered from Amazon. No carbs because it has no filler -- but since it has no filler, you use only a fraction of tsp. I keep a "baby spoon" in the bag of sucralose, and just put some on the tip of spoon. I sweeten a gallon jug of KoolAid with just about 1/4 of a baby spoonful.
It costs a lot, but you only use a very small amount.
You have to be careful too because many of the packets have dextrose which is sugar. I buy stevia brands with no dextrose, and have the liquid and the one with no additives. I also count torani as carbs (1 per T for the torani) even though it says zero because I don't buy that it's zero! I try to avoid splenda and only have one carbs worth a day.
Torani uses the liquid form of sweetener that does not contain any carbs. DaVinci and Starbucks, too. So you don't have to worry about them, at least!
