Fantastic year and looking great!

I was worried about reverting to terrible habits too.  There are two important differences this time around though-

1.  My fatty rule- Once I hit 190 I automatically go back into weight loss mode until I am back under again.  My goal weight is 195 so this keeps things comfortable. There will be no denial and weight creeping up this time.

2.  I do sometimes have a bad day or bad string of days.  But I will not bury my head in the sand and will crawl back on that wagon.  Sometimes it takes  a couple days to get back on, but I always do.

Karik gives good advice about bad carbs- avoid your triggers.  I still can't have junk food in the house- it is just how it has to be.

Congrats on your truly amazing year!!!!!

I'm not the longest Veteran on here but I've been in maintenance for six months and there are a few rules I've learned to follow. I don't keep it in the house and don't let other keep it in the house.
I've seen how my mentality has shifted. Fat Tiff would have a bad day, reward herself with a sleeve of Oreos, have a bad day the next day bc she felt bad about the Oreos and never break the cycle. If I have a bad day or two (we women get them monthly) and I see a scale fluctuation, I go back to basics. Up my water and protein and add a workout.

Skinny people aren't skinny bc they don't enjoy food. They're skinny bc they can stop and adjust.

Congrats on your amazing journey!
