Burping

I burp alot.  I am 17 days out.  Did anyone else experience this?  Does it go away? 

I still burp alot. I think we get air in our tummies easier now when we eat. My wife yells at me and says the only reason Ihad  the surgery was for an excuse to burp in public and she would not be able to get mad. She was joking but it was funny.

LOL, yes my husband has been teasing me too!

You still have a lot of gas possibly from the surgery.  Make sure that when you drink you are not trying to gulp alot.  Try not to eat quickly.  If you are drinking through a straw this can add to it also.  Also burping for some is a sign they have over eaten.

I do to. today was a gurgle & growl day.

LOL, its crazy the noises I make.  When I am at work I want to apologize to people but I am not sure if they hear it

I'm 3 months out, and I don't burp as much any more as I do the gurgles.  It isn't overly loud, it just feels funny.  I only burp a bunch now if I eat too fast.  I'm still learning on that part.

Thanks!  I know i need to work on drinking slower too.  I don't eat much right now but I take small bites and I wait a few minutes between bites.  Learning experience for sure!

I do also burp alot.  When I was recovering in the hospital from my surgery I had the hiccups that would not go away.  It was very annoying and my throat started to hurt.
