Update on Bill
I have gained 3 lbs from eating all junk food. I grab candy and snacks at hospital. I do not do well with stress.
Thanks again everyone.
Bless your heart. Sometimes we just need to put first things first. You are going through a lot, as well as is Bill. Step 1 accomplished, and so glad to hear he is in recovery. Take care of yourselves and stay focused on the prize- the complete healing. My prayers remain with you in this. Courage, hope, perserverance, and peace to you. Bonnie

Glad he is out of intensive care and healing. Stress eating can be really tough to conquer. If you know in advance it will be tough, try to plan for it. Take snack food that will not trounce your paln- fresh raw veggies, or what have you. Low calorie though. My stress eating for whatever reason triggers a need for crunchy type food, so I would plan accordingly. If you can identify a particular type of stress food choice you gravitate toward, then replace it with a better choice that will still meet the need. Plan distractions too- maybe bring a book you have put off reading, knitting, whatever is appropriate for your needs.
Sending prayers your way, HT
