10 days pre-op what vitamins should I take afterwards

Curious to know what kind of vitamins I should be taking after surgery?  All suggestions will be helpful... I am so excited

Providing a list of vitamins is something a surgeon or the nutritionist that works with the surgeon should be telling you about - have you not gotten this kind of information? Have they given you meal plans? When is your surgery?

I take a multi-vitamin w/ iron and 2 calcium citrate pills twice a day.

I just re-read your subject line. I see you are 10 days pre-op. Your surgeon's office should have definitely given you this kind of information, so you should definitely get in touch with them!

My surgeon says I'll need to take two Flintstones chewable vitamins per day after my sleeve surgery. I agree with the other poster, though, this is something your surgeon or nutritionist should tell you for sure.

I would check with a bariatric RD or NUT.  From everything I've read, Flintstones are not adequate for adults.  As has been pointed out before, surgeons are cutters, not nutritionists.

I am going to Mexico to have my sleeve done by Dr Valenzuela on Nov 4th.. Apparently I get an information pack when leaving. was hoping to buy vitamins before I leave for surgery.

My nut says 2 flinstones chewable sand calcium I'm 4 days out so far so good
