Hi there! Let me introduce myself....

Hey guys!  I've been a lurker for awhile now and haven't felt like posting until the surgery date was scheduled.  Lucky for me, I'm on the calendar for Nov 27, 2 days before my 32nd birthday.  I can't wait!!  I'm having the gastric sleeve surgery at St Lukes in Boise, ID.

All of your messages, thoughts, experiences, advice, etc have been tremendously helpful in preparing me for this next stage in my life.  This is going to be a long month...

 

Congratulations!!!!  This month is going to go by so fast you just wait and see and before you know it you will be part of the loser club......Yeaaaaa!

So exciting! A new you is just around the corner. You have come to the right place to research. This site has such great info and helpful people.

Congrats & welcome to the message boards :)  This month will fly by and you'll be on the other side before you know it!

Definitely prepare yourself for it to be a long month!

I decided about a year ago to have the sleeve done, and began my six month education class in January. I thought the six month class was long... but it wasn't nearly as long as the one month I had to wait after receiving my surgery date. I wanted it, and I wanted it NOW! :-)
