APPROVED (and a thank you!)

I Just found out I'm approved and my surgery date is 11/20/13.  I've been so worried about getting approved and now surgery is right around the corner.  I just wanted to thank all of you who post often.  I've been a lurker on this website since june when I started this process and I've got so much information from all of you just reading all of the posts.  You all are an inspiration to us just starting the journey so I just wanted to say thank you---I'm really excited about the next part of this journey!  I feel like I have some hope to start anew at 51 years old!

Yay!!!! CONGRATS . we have surgery on the same day! surgery buddy!  just started my preop diet. still scrambling to get in all my pre measurements and pics along with shopping for things i need, how about you are you good to go?

Hi Jess---I'm getting there-still quite a bit to do.  Little overwhelmed right now--just found out I was approved yesterday and given my surgery date then.  I've had 5 months to get ready for this but all of a sudden it's here!  just started my pre-op diet too---not great; but I guess we'll survive the next two weeks!  Good luck--I'll be thinking of you on the 20th.
