I start my pre-op diet on Friday, then just 2 weeks til surgery. I am so nervous and excited!

So I am trying to plan a little, and one thing I am trying to work on is my food addiction. I was wondering if anyone had read any really good, insightful, and helpful books on the subject that I can work on reading during my recovery?

The Beck Diet Solution, Thin Commandments and Shrink Yourself aught to keep you happy and busy.  Read them, they are great books and you will go back to them many times over.

The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business

The Diet Dropout's Guide to Natural Weight Loss: Find Your Easiest Path to Naturally Thin

Both books discuss behavior vs laying out a food plan to follow. The power of habit is great. It can be applied to many aspects of ones life, including food/diet.

Good luck!
