Refried beans

I think I'm ok to start purées tomorrow. My guide says "begin second week after gastric sleeve," and my NUT visited me in the hospital and she told me I'd be starting the purées "next week." I'm pretty sure that's what she said anyway. When she visited, I was still very loopy from anesthesia. I was wondering if refrained beans are considered purée or soft foods stage. Anyone know?

I would think they're puree but I didn't have a puree stage.  I had a soft foods stage for 3 weeks, during which time I could have them, so I ate fat-free refried beans.

I would thimk they count. I'm not doctor or NUT though. I greatly enjoyed refried beans after surgery. I mixed in Laughing Cow or Unjury Protein'd cheese sauce. Yum.

I had them during the pureed stage. I mixed plain greek yogurt and FF cheese with mine to make them yummy!! 

My doc said week three for pureed food. Monday. Starts week 4 and my soft food. I had ff refried beans and pureed ground Turkey taco meat. I've had egg and pureed ground sausage. Gl!
