I found that I could not tolerate the BA vitamins after surgery because of the sweetness. At the suggestion of my Nutritionist, I started crushing them and mixing them with nonfat plain greek yogurt. Now I could probably tolerate the sweetness, but I enjoy the yogurt. Plus I get a little extra protein in from the yogurt.
I use miralax daily for constipation. I found that 1/2 a dose per day works pretty well for me.
Good luck with your transition. It takes a while to get used to the new tummy, but it does get better with time.

What I found worked for me..as recommended by my nutritionist pre-op diet and after.. for constipation was taking clear inulin fiber. It's great as you only need 1-2 teaspoons 3 times a day and it dissolves in any liquid and soft foods..such as yogurt and any substance like this. You don't even taste it. I still use it every day and it keeps me regular. Eating foods high in fiber and Greek yogurt helps too..especially for digestion. I believe Metamucil makes a clear version..I buy the pharmacy brand.
Vitamins were tricky for me early out as well, they were to hard to swallow and get down. I like the suggestion of crushing them up in Yogurt..could be very helpful. It does get easier..as now I have no problem taking vitamins.
I always have issues when eating low carb, even before surgery. My non-laxative solution is 400 mg of magnesium, If I eat cheese or have my twice weekly iron chew I up it to 600. seems to work for me. Extra fiber never helped. eating a flaxseed muffin (muffin in a minute) would stop me up every time. I finally gave them up.
I take the Celebrate chewable mutli pineapple-strawberry flavor and do it right after a meal. Without food it does not sit too well. the tiny Bariatric Advantage does not sit, ever. I expect finding what works is very individual, results may vary, as they say. My labs were excellent at 3 months.
I have the opposite issue from constipation. They told me to take Fiber-All, no matter the issue. It balances everything, whether you're constipated or the opposite.
And yes, I struggle with my vitamins. Not so much the multiple, which is a chewable I take in the evening, but with my calcium. I also take glucosamine. So, as soon as I get to work, I dump out my 3 glucosamine tables, my 6 calcium pills (next time I purchase, I'm going back to chewables or something), and my 4 breast "health" supplements. I divide them up between morning and afternoon, and work at having the first pile gone before lunch, the second before I leave for home. But sometimes I feel all I do is take pills.
My multi is a chewable, as I said, and I've actually grown to like the taste. :-) It's supposed to be pineapple, but it's not bad. I get all my vitamins and supplements from Puritan Pride. Decent prices (a lot of sales) and high quality.
I just wanted to add ground flax seed in your shake will make a difference as well. It did wonders for me.
1) A few months after my surgery, I ran into that problem. For me, 2 chewable fiber gummies, twice a day, did the trick. Now that I am eating more fruits, vegetables and grains, I have them just once a day.
2) Is there a different multi that you can take? I had problems with big pills at first, so my dietician oked my for taking a chewable multi. Maybe your multi has too much zinc in it for you? Both my hubby and I get barfy if we take a multi with lots of zinc in it...

Constipation- when i was low carbing it I had to take 2 colace nightly and a dose of Milk of Magnesia every other day. Once I put fiber back into my diet no issues. If I get a minimum of at least 25 grams of fiber (average 35 though) then no need for medicinal intervention.
