Two week check up

I saw my surgeon today, and I'm down 21 lbs. since my weigh in at the hospital 13 days ago. I feel great, but I'm experiencing terrible heart burn.

Did your doctor prescribe a PPI, like Prevacid or something similar?

yes, started day after surgery and his usual length of use is 3mths.

My doctor did not initially prescribe a PPI, but when I called the office complaining of heart burn, he approved me to use Prilosec.
