I've heard many people talk about quest bars and I figured I would try them once I am 6+ months out but right now their website is sending free samples to us resident to try so might as well take advantage. heres the link (http://www2.questproteinbar.com/sampleoffer/?ref=47)

BTW my skin has been very dry since surgery so I've been looking into moisturizes and Cetaphil also happens to be offering free samples so if anyone wants heres the link:

Thank you! I am just starting my journey and with my background, I have to learn how to eat properly basically. The bars will be nice to try.

Awesome! I just tried the Apple pie bars, they're actually really good and have bits of dried fruit in them. One bar has 20g protein, which is awesome, though I can only eat half in a sitting.

Quest bars save me time and time again. I always keep one in my pkt book in case I'm away and I get hungry. My favorites are cinnamon roll and chocolate cookie dough flavor. Thanks for the links since I also use cetaphil lotion!

I'll say I love me some Quest bars but I know a lot of vets would advise against them.  The further out you get, the more of these you can eat.  They can also become sliders or even trigger you to want to eat more sugar &/or carbs.  One time I ate 2 in a row.  I keep them for emergencies when I really need something sweet.

I admit, I still eat them when I need something very sweet.  Just proceed with caution after surgery since they tend to make you want to eat more and more of them when we really need to focus on meeting our protein goals with dense protein.
