Wow!  I felt very prepared going into surgery and did not expect to feel so poorly!  Ha ha. I must have had my head in the clouds for sure!  I'm starting my fourth day post op. Still in a lot of pain but it's much better. I can move around a little easier. Not interested in much going into my stomach but am doing Ron temp water and about half a shake a day.

Very pleased with results as far as lack of hunger or interest in food. Now just ready for mobility without pain and living this new life/!

Every day you will feel 100% better than the day before. By three weeks, you will feel normal again. The little bit of pain and discomfort will be a distant memory soon. And it's so worth it.

You answered my question. I was thinking of moving  doterra class to 3 days post-op, thinking I would be okay sitting and visiting. i better re-think that idea. I hope you feel better soon.

I had my surgery Wednesday and came home Thursday morning,  today I feel pretty good, still sore but not so foggy, took pain med  before bed and so far nothing  today, drinking water and planning on getting on treadmill later. Slow pace...proudly passing gas  and focusing on water intake today!!

Thanks everyone. So much better this morning. Still taking pain needs but cutting back. Water is more palatable and am managing a little bit of pureed foods that's I'm allowed by my doctor. I will focus on walking today since up until now it's been very slow and very short distances the pulling sensation on my incision is what I find so painful. Post op swelling has gone away finally!

Thanks for the support!  Can't wait to be a loser like the rest of you!

i think mine was a train but I was better in a few hours and I went to my support group 2 days after coming home , and talked to people that went to the support group the day they came home ,everyone is different, I was off pain meds the day after I came home , some take a few days longer

as long as you drink 65 oz of liquid a day it is not important if you drink enough protein in a few days the swelling will gom down and you will be able to drink them with little problems

I also felt like a truck hit me!  I'm glad you are doing good.  I'm still struggling with getting water down but it's getting a little better.  I was able to eat 2oz of greek yogurt in a 2hr span so I guess that was good.

Keep it up my surgery sister!

Good work, lady!! Let's do this together!  I've taken no more pain needs today and feel fine until I walk  I almost wonder if something might be wrong
