At first it took me 3-4 hours to drink a protein shake.  Now, at 4 days out, I can drink one in 1 1/2-2 hours.  Shoul this be ok this soon out?

I never really had a problem with drinking liquids even from the get go. By the time I left the hospital I could drink 4oz and my surgeon thought that was great. Fluid moves through your sleeve quickly because of the pyloric valve. If you're not sure what that is, here's a re-post of Frisco's

How many ounces? In the beginning, I was instructed to drink 2 ounces every 15 minutes. So an 8 ounce shake should take one hour. (It usually took me a little bit longer, however!) Hope this helps!
