I have surgery scheduled for 4/7 with pre op on 4/1. I am coughing my head off. No other symptoms. I think it's seasonal allergies so I took a Zertec this morning. I am soooooo scared my surgery will be postponed!

Did the Zyrtec help? They won't postpone due to allergies. Even if you came down with something today, you still have time before your surgery. I am pretty sure it will all be good!

If the zyrtec helps then sounds like allergies but call your surgeon Mon and find out for sure. In the mean time I owuld keep on with any pre op preperations as usual.

I have had surgery before with a cold. They told me they would only postpone if you have a high fever.
