Exercise by a Non-Exerciser
I have started walk it my dog about 1.8 miles 4 times a week. I have to admit that I don't get tired as quickly at work now and walking for longer distances is getting a bit easier. I am buying a Fitbit Flex today too and I am so excited. Have a good Saturday everyone.

Great job! I think having a companion like your dog makes it easier too!
I will be honest. I signed up for the gym and haven't gone yet :-/ I have Monday off and promised myself I would go then. I run around nonstop at my job and am exhausted, so I think I use that as an excuse. I really need to start toning though!
Can't wait for the nice weather to go walking too!
This is great. I'm glad you are getting some exercise. I am also a non-exerciser, and I've been using the recumbent bike every day for about 20 minutes. This is not a lot, but it is so much better than nothing. I am feeling so much stronger.
Keep up the good work!

Keep it up!! My first three months after surgery, I just tried to walk a little longer or further every week. So 3-4 days a week, I'd walk say...30 minutes. The next week, 45 minutes, or increase my speed/distance using a treadmill.
At three months out, my doc said "go find a crossfit class" - 2nd best thing I've ever done for myself. :) Now I go twice a week, am stronger than I've ever been, and actually feel FIT....And I have NEVER been an exerciser!
