Heartburn?

I NEVER had heartburn pre op. Never. I'm three months out and stopped taking omepresol three days ago and ever since have heartburn. Anyone else experience this? My surgeons office doesn't want me on it long term because it can cause bone loss or weakness. I have a check up tomorrow and hopefully they will put me back on it if they think the lack of it is causing my heartburn. I just want to hear some of your experiences. Thanks!

I am only 3 weeks post-op and the same thing.  I'm up all night with heartburn maybe even GERD. I can't get any relief. Just like you, I had never had this pre-op.
