Learned a lesson

I learned not to brush my teeth right after I eat.  I lost my breakfast this morning from brushing too soon after I ate.  My toothbrush activated my gag reflex and that was all she wrote!  I haven't thrown up food since surgery and it's not something I want to do again!

Were you brushing your teeth or your tongue?

I haven't been sleeved yet, but I know if I go too far back while doing my tongue, I gag sometimes.

That is a new one I hadn't heard before.  It wouldn't matter to me though as I could stick the toothbrush down my throat and not bring up breakfast.  (I tried many times when younger)

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

In the first 3-4 months after surgery there were a few times that brushing my teeth made me throw up. It happened even when I'd only had water that morning and hadn't eaten yet. So weird! I'm glad I'm past that stage!
