Can you strech your sleeve by...
Based on my doc's plan, everything I've read, and my own experience....it would take ALOT more than that, regularly, to stretch your sleeve. That said, eating quickly and not chewing thoroughly CAN cause pain and discomfort, or even make you vomit. Not pleasant at all...
My best advice to you is simply:
- chew EVERYTHING longer than you think is necessary (my first few months, I counted and aimed for 30 chews, especially with protein.
- do something between bites to slow you down - put your fork down, wipe your mouth, etc. Since I was often eating alone early on, I found a game on my phone that took a minute to play - so I'd have a bite, play the game, have a bite, play the game, et****il I had a nice slow pace as my "new normal"
Best of luck!
Kate
I don't think so, but it would be good if you learn to slow down. Gives your brain the time it needs to receive the full signal, and less chance of foamies/vomiting.

After 1 year out, a friend of mine had the lap band put on her sleeve!!! How crazy is that???
She is now removing the band because they couldn't adjust it properly. She gained back all her weight.
so in her case, she believes her sleeve stretched. Or maybe surgery was not done right. She eats as she did before.. No restriction.
im about 1month 1/2 out, G-d knows I have my struggles, I get lots of support here.
i can eat faster than the average and now can eat 3oz depending on what I'm eating. It scares me! I had the band before this.. I lost 150lbs then failed at that, but most do, the sleeve is great, I'm sure with behavioral therapy I will make this work.
You can do this, take your time, and keep busy! I find when I'm home, I tend to want to snack more.
keep connected here, it's free therapy for some :)
This boggles my mind. Why would she eat as she did before? Of course the sleeve won't solve anything if she does that. This surgery still requires vigilance and lifestyle change to "work."
