Does Anyone Else TAN More Easily Post-WL?
So... I have not been this tan (my legs especially) in the summer in about 10 years.
I read something interesting (and, naturally, can't find the link to it now) about how legs don't tan as easily/quickly because they are farthest from the heart and have the worst circulation of any body parts... Add that to the fact that, at my HW, I was pre-diabetic, and my circulation was obviously compromised, I can understand why my legs JUST WOULDN'T TAN when I was at my heaviest.
This summer, 125 pounds down? I am SO tan! And I haven't spent any extra time out in the sun compared to the past few years at my pasty-est.
It's bizarre. Has anyone else experienced this sort of phenomena?

This is a my second summer rockin' an AWESOME tan!
IDK if it has anything to do with the weight loss, or the fact
that I look to be outside in the sun now,
where before, I hit the air, hit the snacks put on the TV and went into my food coma
letting beautiful days pass me by because I would sweat
like a stuck pig the second I stepped out of the house...
NOW, I hate being I the air conditioning
I lay poolside for hours listening to my music...all very relaxing and zen...

I totally notice this! I didn't think it was due to WL but really maybe it is! I use 60 SPF sunscreen (reapplied multiple times) and I still come away with a tan after a day in the sun. My only colouring before was either red or white.
I have to admit I do love the tan...makes me feel better :)
