Protein Shakes for Diabetics
Oh, there are plenty. I like Syntrax Nectar, which have 23 grams of protein and no sugar. There is also Unjury, which I think have 20 grams of protein and no sugar.
I personally wouldn't bother with a shake with only 15 grams of protein.

I like the AdvatEDGE carb control shakes. Strawberry is my favorite. 11 oz, 100 calories (110 for dark chocolate), 17 grams protein, 1.5 grams carbs. My nutritionist recommended these for my presurgery diet because I was diabetic. I still use them and I'm 7.5 weeks out from surgery.
Thank you for your responses. After getting input here and from my dietician, I did a lot of research into getting a quality product at a reasonable price. I ended up ordering Nectar brand powder for the protein shakes I need pre-op and I got Nectar clear liquid protein powder for the 21 day post op diet. After checking about 5 different sites online, I ordered from VitaCost because it was the best price with no S&H. Living in a rural area, the internet sure does help with variety when it comes to choosing something like this not carried locally. These drinks had a lot of great reviews and my dietician said she really likes them. I was going to renew my Sam's Club card and go with Premire Protein, but we've had a lot of 100 degree days this summer in my area and I'd read negative comments about their shakes curdling. I'll write a review for the Nectar brand once I've tried them. Thanks again for your input and helping me make a decision. :)
