Sorry, but never again.  I lived on canned tuna, the best there was, during the two weeks of mushy foods.  I'm done with that forever; can't stand the stuff anymore.

Frisco~

I love your posts, your knowledge, and your food photos. On this one, you have made a simple can of tuna look like the most delicious meal on the planet. The way you photograph and decorate food I will bet you could make a pile of dog poo (💩)look appetizing..just saying. Keep up the awesome posts. I can't wait until I can eat tuna. Take care....😀

Would you share the recipe for the yogurt based slaw? It looks so good

OK.... you got me....

- Shredded cabbage

- Couple tablespoons GY

- Salt and pepper

- Pinch of sweetener to knock the tang down on the GY

- teaspoon of Hidden Valley Ranch mix

- topped with bacon salt

Sorry kind of vague.... I'm always testing different things and combinations.

FYI, I ate about half the slaw and about half the tuna.

I do something similar when I don't have tine to cook.  Instead of tuna, I prefer hot sauce on sardines and instead of slaw, I use a quick Greek salad.  I guess my Mediterranean roots are showing.  :)   I like how you keep things simple when needed and dress it up to make it more appetizing.  This morning I had a strange breakfast (even for me).  I ate chicken livers Stroganoff made with onions and mushrooms and lite sour cream.  I know....I know...strange.  :)

looks good. there is this one tuna called "Wild Planet" supposed to be sustainably caught - a local product. comes in single serving pouches. also comes in smoked i think.  they have it at costco.  it really does taste better.   diane
