Cold all the time!

I feel the same way!  This is something very new and different for me.  I was always hot and uncomfortable and my poor skinny husband was wrapping blankets around himself because I kept the house so cold.  Now I'm the one closing the windows and turning on the heat and he's feeling warm!  Does this balance out as time goes by at all?

As I'm sitting in my 75 degree office and freezing, I have the floor heater on full blast trying to warm me up.  Since surgery, I'm cold all the time.  This summer was a completely different experience than I've had in my entire life.  Used to be I would come home from work, strip off all my clothes and still sweat.  Now I leave all my work clothes on to keep me warm.  The only thing that still affects me is humidity since we're not used to it in SoCal.

I hate being cold! I'm so not looking forward to winter. I've been told that its hot in the control room, but it feels comfortable to me, so far I like it at 82 degrees. It definitely isn't lack of padding, when I was over 300lbs I was still cold, but figured it was cuz my internal thermostat couldn't compensate with all the extra weight, but after reading all these posts I guess it's my new normal now.

Most people say the cold feeling fades gradually over the first couple of years.

Here's another popsicle saying hello to you!!!!! I AM ALWAYS COLD!!!! My mom jokes about it now, saying that if the power goes they can stick me in the freezer and keep everything cold. lol I HATE IT.... But it's better than being hot. It's a skinny person's thing? Me skinny? I still can't grasp that. I hope eventually I will.

I've found that I have just started to even out.  I went all summer wearing sweaters with jackets and long pants.  The weather had to get up past 30C in order for me to even feel warm.  I went to Nevada on vacation and at 100F I was beautifully warm and content while everyone was dying.  Fall is here and I find I'm chilly but it seems to be more appropriate to conditions rather then I just can't generate heat.  Give it time, I believe our bodies just need to adjust. I'm just entering into my 10th month.
