Cold all the time!
Since my surgery in February, I've been absolutely FREEZING all the time. I spent all summer with two extra blankets on my side of the bed (and a cat curled on my tummy or at my toes) and I'm still not warm enough. This winter is going to kill me, I'm sure! Hubby is warm and keeps turning up the AC but I keep telling him to turn the darn thing down or OFF!!! He broke down and bought me an electric heating pad two weeks ago. I've been using it every night since.
This is one of those "better get used to it" things. It's not something I've ever experienced before. Very odd indeed.

Yeah, I'm freezing too, and have been pretty much since straight after surgery. At support group, the nutritionist said this was because we've lost padding. Well, I mean, I still have plenty of insulation now! My money is on low caloric intake, but I'm sure the cold feeling gets worse as the fat goes.
On the plus side, I'm looking forward to knitting things for myself to keep me warm! Previously, I couldn't justify the expense and time of making plus size sweaters. :)
Is it just padding? I have always been hot natured even when I weighed this when I was In my 30s.

Stalls are your body's way of telling you not to get too cocky.

It's due to the cross functional relationship of ketosis, hormones and a calorie restricted diet.
It's mainly due to how your body (the hormones) will react to changes in the "energy in" and "energy out" variables.

Yeah, most people will say it's loss of insulation, but it's really not. Those who get it go into surgery hot all the time, and wake up freezing. So it's not loss of padding, or dietary. It's hormones. Some switch gets flipped, just like the one that turns diabetes off.
