How much food?
I have been reading where people eat 2-2.5 oz of food per meal. I just realized that I am eating more than that and I am a bit nervous. My nut told me I should eat 1/2 c to 3/4 c per meal (4+ ounces). Why am I allowed to eat that much? I have been trying to keep it at 1/2 c or less just because I don't want to stretch anything or fall into my old habits. How big must my pouch be :(
I switched therapists and see a new one on Monday who deals with eating disorders, Lord I can't wait!

I am still on liquids and my protein shakes (which I have to have twice a day) are 11 ounces. I am suppose to take an hour to drink them though. I think liquid diets are a bit different. I do only have a half a cup of broth twice a day as well. I think your okay. I just had to change my NUT so I may be messing myself up with the 11 ounces of shake I have been drinking. That kind of worries me. But I think your okay.
I'm not sure how far out you are from surgery, but I am 18 months out, and I eat 3.5 ounces of dense protein plus about 3 ounces of veggies to feel full. If you eat dense protein first, it causes the pyloric valve to close and limits how much you can eat. My program suggested 3 to 4 ounces of dense protein per meal plus all the healthy low-carb veggies I could eat. This is the formula I use and its working for me. I was eating three meals a day and I recently increase it to 4 meals per day because I needed more calories in maintenance.
I wouldn't worry too much about sleeve size - if you eat only at meals, eat protein first, limit the amount of protein to manage your calories and then fill up on low carb veggies, you'll do fine.

Don't confuse volume for weight. When I say I eat 3oz protein, I mean weight.
11oz of liquid does not mean much as it passes through quickly.
