Nauseous from iced tea?????
My standard drink before surgery was unsweetened iced tea. For some reason, after surgery it made me queasy. (Maybe there's some type of acid in it? I don't know, never really looked into it.) After a few months I was able to drink it again but it still doesn't sit as well as it used to. I've switched to diet green tea, which doesn't cause any problems with me.
Maybe it was too cold.

Sometimes it's the temperature of certain liquids. For me, ice cold fluids will cause some acid feelings and a little nausea. I have to be careful. Also, tea itself is filled with tannic acids and it's those acids that might be messing with your stomach right now.
I would try tea at a warmer temp and see if that works. If it doesn't work then just lay off the tea for awhile until you are further out.
I can't handle much of it either. I think it's the ice and the cold temperature that doesn't work for me. Plus the caffeine was keeping me up at night. I don't have an issue with warm tea.
