Frisco- Brussels Sprouts..... The Key !!!

I'm obsessed with brussel sprouts.  I eat them almost daily.  Seriously.

My go to is roasting them with garlic, onions and bacon.  Oh my!  What two strips of bacon can do to a lb of brussel sprouts.  So delicious.  This is my new salty snack.  Well not so new anymore.

Do you parboil them?

No.  I ussually half or quarter them depending on how big they are (there were some huge ones at the store last night) then I slow roast them ~350 for 20 minutes on each side.  I prefer mine a bit crispy (read as burnt), so you might want to do a little less.  I also typically undercook them to my liking b/c I reheat them in the toaster oven so they are always cripsy.  so good.

Brussels Sprouts are one of my go to foods.  I eat them at least once a week, often more.  I l love them cut and seared on a pan, then cooked with bacon, pine nuts and a little oil.  Sometimes I make them and then add them to salads.   Great photo as usual.
