Chewing Gum!

OMG, today is the first time in almost 11 months I've chewed gum!  I didn't realize how much I miss it.  So far no problems at all.

I love gum.  however, i used to be a spearmint person and now I love cinnamon.  Weird

I chew gum to help with indigestion if I eat too much or too fast

I was addicted to gum chewing before surgery.  I am now afraid I might accidentally swallow it. What would happen if I did?

I'm pretty sure it will just come out the other end, like it would if you have a normal stomach. But I haven't swallowed gum since I was a kid so I'm not particularly worried about it.

My surgeon ordered me to chew come right after surgery to get my intestines going. I was kinda afraid, but it really worked. Sugar free of course!
